🛠 Heatmap removal from Private User Sessions

Private User Sessions are a valuable tool for tracking activities of users logged into your account.

However, the inclusion of Heatmaps in the design of this page doesn’t align well with its purpose; they are better suited for analytics. Adding to the unnecessary challenge are loading inconsistencies due to the page being outdated compared to the rest of the app. As a result, the decision is clear: to remove the Heatmaps from this page, effective August 21st, 2023.

This change aims to provide a streamlined and effective interaction within Private User Sessions. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to optimize your experience. 🚧

Google Universal Analytics (UA/GA3) is no longer supported

As of July 1, 2023, Google has officially cut over from their Universal Analytics (also known as UA or GA3) in favor of Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

This means that the UA/GA3 instance is no longer collecting new data which is why we have removed it from our list of available integrations.

If you haven’t already, head over to the Wistia Integrations page and connect your GA4 instance to continue collecting your valuable video data in Google Analytics.

Project Analytics Update

Hello! We’ve been busy making our Analytics faster and easier to use. A few months ago, we beta-released a new version of Project Analytics that included an assortment of usability improvements as well as some new ways for you to see your Project trends over time.

Your response to the new experience has been awesome! So, we’ve made it official and removed the legacy view and put the new Project Analytics experience in its place. Go and check it out for yourself.
