We’ve been hard at work over here at Wistia to make our Channels feature a better experience for all of our users. Now a single media can be published and distributed throughout multiple Wistia Channels, without making a single copy. (Did we just hear you cheer?) Let’s dig into the deets.

One media to rule them all

Think of the relationship like a playlist on your favorite streaming app. Now you can publish one media in multiple locations and Channels. Simplicity at its finest.

Folders as your new home base

Instead of having your media spread across different parts of the app, you now have one centralized space to manage your content. Once your media is in a folder, you can reference it in any Channel or embed it anywhere.

Savings on media limits

Instead of copies on copies (that can get expensive, quickly), now you can have one media that’s referenced in lots of places. Similar to your embed locations, you’ll be able to see what Channels a media is referenced in, alongside all those other great locations.

With our new line chart, you'll be able to visualize and compare performance trends at a glance, making it easier to spot peaks and valleys across multiple videos over time.

Head over to the Compare Media page, and you'll find the new line chart waiting for you. Customize your analysis by selecting a time range of up to 2 years and filter your metrics with the Metric dropdown. Plus, you can specify the granularity of time increments to suit your needs, whether it's by Day, Week, or Month.

Delve into a comprehensive breakdown by embedded location and effortlessly discover your top 5 performers with a simple hover-over pop-up on the chart.

We’ve added analytics for podcast episodes!

We’ve added a few improvements to podcasting to make it easier for you to better understand your podcast performance and analytics at the episode level. As you may already know, Podcast episodes can be published using Wistia embed or through podcasting platforms like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and others using an RSS feed.

When you publish your podcasts through an RSS feed, you’ll see a brand new “Podcast” tab on your episode's analytics page where you can see more detailed information about how your episode performs across your different apps.
