External mic issues on macOS Sequoia impacting Wistia Live & Record users

We want to inform folks using macOS Sequoia 15.0 or 15.1 about a known issue that may be affecting your experience with Wistia Live, Wistia Record, and other audio-dependent applications.
Recently, we identified a bug in the macOS Sequoia update that is causing problems for some users using external microphones in different apps and platforms, including Wistia. This may prevent users from joining as a host or panelist in a live event, or cause their microphones to stop working during a live event or recording.
Our team is actively investigating this issue and working closely to find a resolution. In the meantime, we recommend the following:
Temporary Workaround: If you're experiencing issues with your external microphone, please use your laptop's built-in microphone as a temporary workaround. This seems to resolve the problem for most users.
