Today we are retiring the Video Quality selection from account settings. Instead, the Wistia player will deliver the best possible version of your video at any given time by using HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) for adaptive streaming.

With this change, any previous settings will be consumed within HLS which will automatically choose the highest quality version of the video to serve your viewers without buffering. If you do want to specify a quality setting for your videos, you can use the qualityMin and qualityMax embed options on individual embeds.

You can find more details about HLS and Adaptive Streaming in our help article here.
