Have you heard? Now you can edit your videos right in Wistia! Announced in June of 2022, our editing feature helps you trim, split, and cut your clips to polish your content for your viewers.

From webinars to live events and everything in between, you can make precise edits, use keyboard shortcuts to speed up your workflow, and zoom in for granular trimming.

Got a little trim happy? No worries! With this update, you can simply grab the trim bars and drag them back to where you wanted them. No need to hit the undo button.

We’ve also enhanced our exporting workflow.

Once you’re done editing, you can:

Save as a Copy

Your original will stay the same, and we’ll make an additional, updated version in your Project.

or

Save and Replace

Your original video will be replaced with the edited version. Pro tip: If you customized your video before you edited it, those customizations won’t transfer. But, you’ll be able to generate transcripts on export. We’re currently exploring how we can make this workflow more streamlined, so stay tuned.
